Blush Makeup

Putting on makeup has become an art in itself. There are so many different types and brands of makeup on the market. Knowing which ones are best for you is key to looking fresh and natural.

Most women apply concealer, foundation, blush, mascara and lipstick each day. Some even apply eye shadow, eye liner, and pressed powder. The younger you are the less makeup you usually have to apply.

When it comes to blush there are many different brands and kinds to choose from. There are liquid blushes, powder blushes, and cream blushes. Some can be applied using your fingertips or sponges and some use brushes.

You do not have to be a blush makeup artist to get the right look. Be sure you apply your makeup while in the right light. If it is too dark you may end up applying too much. You want your blush to look natural as if you were blushing.

Suck in your cheeks and take a look in a mirror. You will see a hollowed out spot on each cheek. You should be applying your color just above the indent. Some women apply a rosier shade on top and a tanner shade beneath it. You will have to practice with your blush makeup brushes and sponges until you find the right look for you.

Some of the most popular blush brands are Cover Girl, Maybelline, Clinique, and Elizabeth Arden. On the back of the packages they usually give you some pointers on how to best apply their blush. If you are not sure you can go to a professional makeup artist and watch how they apply your makeup.
